Post subject:  error / uncertainty in model

What is the level of uncertainty in the data? I've read the general comments about assumptions and uncertainty (found: http://www.eiolca.net/Method/assumption ... ainty.html ) and also reviewed the documentation for the actual model we're using (US 2002, http://www.eiolca.net/docs/full-documen ... 042310.pdf)--but cannot find information regarding error or uncertainty in the data. Given that uncertainty values aren't included with the data, how do you recommend addressing uncertainty in any LCA using EIO data?

Sorry for delay in replying but I did not get the usual notification that a new posting happened.

To estimate uncertainty you should go back to the underlying data sources. Eg for energy use, we use datanfrom MECS which shows standard errors, etc.

If you end up putting something together pesse let us know and we can include it.
