Post subject:  Emissions Data for 2002

I understand that the new data for 2002 is not coming out until 2007. What I want to know is if there is a way to figure out how the ECO2 emissions factor for electricity generation or for the each of the sectors has changed or for the whole model has changed. For example in the manual is shows that from 1992-1997 Green House Gas emissions for electricity emissions decreased by 31%. Is there a way of finding how much that decrease is between 1997 and 2002 or even for dates after that?

Is the data bases where I can find this information available to access and up to what year does it have accurate data for.

We have only begun preliminary research into creating the energy/environmental data for 2002 - knowing that we have until next year to get it done (i.e., when the benchmark economic data is released) we have been in no rush to get it done earlier.

Regardless, if you'd like to try to make some preliminary comparisons on your own, you are welcome to do so. Please post your results!
