Attached below is a URL link to the first full version of the details behind how all data in the 1997 US EIO-LCA model is organized. As you will note it is a fairly substantial process.
For those of you interested in specific datasets (e.g., energy) you will see subsections for each. Of course the greenhouse gas and conventional air pollutant emissions "depend" on the fuel and energy use for each sector.
Please let us know if you have comments or questions from reading this document. The intent is to give us much detail as possible without literally explaining every one of the coefficients individually.
We are releasing all of this to the public so that any potential issues can be identified and corrected openly. There are likely improvements that can be made, or judgments you may disagree with. We are willing to entertain and discuss any feasible suggested changes that improve the model.
